Bicycling on the Streets

Discover how to stop worrying and really enjoy road cycling.

During 9 hours of instruction and on-bike practice with a nationally certified instructor, learn how to:

fix flat tires and maintain your bike
ride more safely and confidently in traffic
be more comfortable riding your bike
improve your bike handling skills

The first 10 adults to register will receive a 48–page textbook.
Bring your bike, a cycling helmet, clothes for riding, a water bottle and a pencil.

Summer session I: July 12th, 19th and 26th

The course fee is $30. Cary Parks and Recreation Dept. charges non-residents an additional fee of $5.

The League of American Bicyclists' Effective Cycling(TM) Program name for this course is Road I.
