Comments from the director: The rally registration will open at 7AM. All rides start at 8AM rain or shine. The NCBC has rented shelter #4 and that will be the start / finish staging area, all riders and volunteers are to report there the morning of the rally. Bring friends and family, there are lots to do and see at Wheeler Park, have a picnic at lake side or under our big shelter.

There are five routes scheduled for the rally:

Cuesheet and map will be provided for each route. All riders must wear a helmet on NCBC rides. All riders are requested to sign in and out on a roster at shelter #4, so we will know when everyone is off the courses.

Some of our local bike sponsors will be at the shelter performing free bike inspections from 7AM - 7:45 AM, so come early.

We want to encourage new riders and new people to join our club and experience the fun of club riding and events. Thus, the NCBC is pleased to offer a FREE ride, #1, a 12 mile loop around Lake Wheeler. This is a challenging course for First Timers, as there are some hills and no short cut across the center of the loop, unless you swim. There are two beautiful vista of Lake Wheeler and also riders can view the reconstruction of historic Yates Mill Pond Dam and Mill Building. NCBC will provide refreshments to you upon completion of the course. Also visit the pavilion building and deck on the lake front.

Rides #2,3,4 & 5 will have Feed Zones located out on the courses. Registered riders will be provided refreshments and snacks at the Feed Zones. It is optional to stop. There will also be refreshments at the staging shelter upon completion of rides.

We have a Gift for all registered rider, a Bike Cap. This is a European style bike cap, not a baseball cap. It will be color coordinated to match the existing NCBC jersey. Caps will be distributed upon rider completing ride and signing out at shelter. Only paying registered rider (ride # 2,3,4&5)will qualify to receive this gift. Only pre-registered riders will be guaranteed a cap, so registered early.

Registration fee is $12 for NCBC members and $18 for non-members. Non-members are welcome to join the club on morning of rally and qualify for the member rate.
