Still Some NCBC Jerseys Left...
Hi Folks, if you're still interested in getting an NCBC Jersey, we have some left. I'll be bringing them to the June club meeting on Monday, and we'll be taking them to our future meetings and rallies while we still have some left. There's a posting that lists the sizes and styles available in our Announcements Forum.

New Requests for NCBC Club Jerseys
Our Jersey Order contract with Louis Garneau is signed and submitted. If you're interested and missed the initial order, there's still hope. The club has ordered some extras, and we plan to submit at least one more order this year. Please read this posting in the NCBC forums for the details. We expect to receive the current order in late April, according to LG.

Club Jersey 2008 Design & Ordering

The new NCBC Jersey Design is ready!

Diana Witt

Click Here for a sample image of the Jersey Style and Layout, including the outlines for different sizes.

We need to know how many of the new jersey to order from Louis Garneau.

The more jerseys we order, the better the price will be.  If you're interested in ordering the new jersey, please drop us a quick note at jersey2008@ncbikeclub.org.
Tell us the following: 1) sizes you normally wear, 2) Preferred fit: Relaxed, Pro, or Women's, 3) Full length or Partial Zipper, and 4) Diamond Square cut fabric (most breathable) or Micro Air Dry (slightly less).

Please let us know no later than Saturday, February 2, 2008. This is the perfect time to order Jerseys for the 2008 riding season, so don't forget!

New Club Activity - Gathering History
Hi Folks - As the result of some discussions we've had at recent meetings, we've begun an effort to compile some of the history of the North Carolina Bicycle Club.  It turns out that the club goes back several years, and not much effort has been made to keep track of its roots, how it has grown, and what it has accomplished.  Carol Schroeder deserves the credit for this idea.

We'd like your help putting together a little history for the club, if possible.  If you have any mementos, stories, article clippings, or other NCBC related memorabilia and are willing to share, please contact one of us.  We're especially interested in the pre-2000 time frame, going back to when the club was chartered.
