Cue and map for Greensboro Amtrak Depot-Hanging Rock

It's about 106 miles total, and is pretty hilly, so it will make a nice two-day adventure. On the other hand, if the train is on time, there's 10-½ hours between Greensboro arrival (9:30am) and departure (7pm), so you can do it as a day trip if you don't want to camp. I think I'll make it a 2-day, and maybe ride fixed…maybe.

Informal pickup ride for new cyclists ambling through town on selected Raleigh greenways, broken up into groups of ten. Recommended you have bike light since it may get dark before we return. Departs promptly at 6:00pm and ride till sunset then maybe dinner afterwards.

If it rains, we go to dinner at a local restaurant.

I will roll by the parking lot at 7:30 and do a 50 minute loop that will give us an extra 15

Come and enjoy your Sunday morning ride with Todd. This is our most popular ride with huge groups of fun riders every Sunday. A well established ride. Plan to average 16 plus with this group. If the quicker tempo is not what you are looking for...we split into 2 groups along the way.
