Come join the
GRITS (Greater
Raleigh Intrepid Tandem Society) in
Wake Forest, NC for splendid
riding around Falls Lake. Discover the small towns of Kittrell
(confederate cemetery), Youngsville, home of
Hill Ridge Farms (our lunch
and dinner spot in an
air conditioned
facility), and Wake Forest.
The rolling piedmont terrain will please riders of
all abilities. Routes will offer a variety of distance and difficulties
to satisfy family riding as well as more challenging courses for the
stronger teams.
We will be riding around the watershed's small
roller coaster hills. The Saturday and Sunday routes start from the
hotel exiting on small quiet roads.
Limited to the first 50 teams. Pre-registration
required.
